The Seamen's Center looks to philanthropic investments by industry corporations and retailers to provide us with the funding we need to sustain and support all of the services that accomplish our mission. The Seamen’s Center has various sponsorship opportunities for companies that want to provide their name and a financial donation to specific Seamen’s Center events such as our annual “Lobster Feast” and “Maritime Festival.” Sponsoring Seamen’s Center events is a great way for corporations to enhance their local image as good corporate citizens. Our Chaplains are supported through their own funds. You can help to fund these ministries by having your congregation and its vestry/board include the Seafarers’ Ministry during its Mission Funding Process.
Contributions of money, your time as a volunteer, books, magazines and games are gratefully accepted. Donations are tax deductible, as the Corpus Christi International Seamen’s Center was chartered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
