International seafarers take Holy Communion from Father Yul Ibay during the Mass. Crew members with their Captain from LO USC TOKYO docked in the Port of Corpus Christi. They attended Mass with Seamen Center Chaplain Fr. Yul Ibay.
The Seamen's Center has three new Chaplains. One is the Minister at Trinity Episcopal Church. He is being trained now by Chaplain Janet Henderson. He will most likely help relieve Father Yul of one of his visitation days boarding vessels.
The Seamen’s Center has a lovely chapel with stained glass windows, which is the perfect place for prayer or quiet reflection. The chapel, with its ship’s wheel-themed chairs, has been the site of many weddings and christenings. We offer free Bibles in almost every language for the seamen to take with them.
The Seamen’s Center has a pool table, foosball table and table tennis for the use of the seamen at no charge. We also have table-top games, magazines, books and movies for the seamen’s benefit and relaxation.
